Ava E. Fields-Cordero was raised in Sanford, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Rollins College and her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. While in law school, Ava was involved in various student activities, serving as a Certified Legal Intern for the Gator TeamChild Clinic, an Associate Justice for the University of Florida Student Traffic Court, an Executive Editor for the Florida Journal of International Law, a Research Assistant in Privacy and AI, and the Communications Chair for the Public Interest and Government Law Association.

 

At SUV Law, Ava's primary practice area is probate and trust administration. She guides clients through the often challenging process that can follow a loved one's death, providing efficient legal advice with care and attention. Prior to joining SUV Law, Ava worked for a firm in Lake County, Florida, where she practiced in several areas, including litigation and real estate.

 

A "third generation Villager," Ava and her husband now call Middleton, Florida, home. Ava is a member of the Lake County Bar Association, the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is also proud to serve as Board Member for Voices for Children of North Central Florida, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to help provide for the unmet needs of abused, neglected, abandoned, vulnerable or otherwise disadvantaged children in Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion and Sumter Counties.
