Loren M. Vasquez was born and raised in South Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English, with honors, from Florida State University in 2010. Following graduation, Loren moved to Lake County, Florida, and went on to obtain his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando in 2015. Loren began his legal career as a Law Clerk for the Honorable F. Rand Wallis of the Florida Fifth District Court of Appeal in Daytona Beach, Florida, before joining a mid-sized law firm based in Orlando, where he primarily practiced fiduciary, trust, and estate litigation. He later joined the Civil Litigation team at McLin Burnsed in Leesburg, Florida.

After years of navigating through the legal disputes that can arise when estate planning and business relationships go wrong, Loren decided to join McLin Burnsed’s estate planning and business law team in The Villages, Florida, so that he could assist his clients with avoiding such scenarios. When McLin Burnsed formally ceased operations in 2025, Loren and his partners, Sarah E. Uhrik and Jeffrey P. Skates, established Skates Uhrik Vasquez Law. Loren’s practice at Skates Uhrik Vasquez Law focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, general business law, and corporate formation.

Loren is honored to serve on the Board of Directors of the Education Foundation of Lake County. He is also a proud graduate of Leadership Lake County and a member of the Lake County Bar Association, as well as the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, the Tax Section, and the Appellate Practice Section of the Florida Bar. In his free time, he enjoys movies, live music, rooting for the Florida State Seminoles, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
